The criminal, caught off guard by the ferocious guardian, dropped the knife and surrendered.
The Detective, breathing heavily, looked at Dobe with gratitude and admiration. “My dear Dobe Holmes, your bravery knows no bounds. I daresay, you are as invaluable as Watson himself.”
The Dobe, with a twinkle in his eye, barked softly in response. “Elementary, my dear human!”
The Detective chuckled, patting Dobe on the head. “Indeed, my friend. Indeed.”
